I laughed out loud at his "You tell me what the strategy is and I'll tell you if it is working" with regard to Syria. It was a sad, pained laugh.

The ISIS propaganda video shown in the beginning is actually this one. They just added speech balloons and slightly changed the (already fake) captions, but it's the same joke. The Al Hayat Media Center has been renamed as the "Al Tayah Media center".

Tricky to write a coherant fictional show based on a rapidly changing real-life situation - such as in Syria. Snowden's leaks were both mentioned as having been noted - and used as fictional source for the German leak narrative.

Excited for a new season. A little uncomfortable at how closely the story is hewing to current events. Not so much the backdrop of Islamic State and US/Germany spying, but all the details of the not-Wikileaks organization, etc.
