This episode was a visual representation of the "When a woman tells you she is experiencing sexism or misogyny, believe her" concept that is oft-repeated on this site. The contrasting walks home from the bar was very powerful.

I spent most of this episode yelling YES! EXACTLY! At the TV. Seriously, representation and honest handling of your lived experiences on TV is an effing awesome thing.

I watched this with a group of dudes, and I was very thankful for the arguments Dev made when he was talking to Rachel about whether or not she just experienced sexism. The things Dev was saying I've heard from a couple of them. It was great to see the show have those same arguments come out of Dev's mouth, and then have Rachel point out why they should rethink next time they are inclined to laugh it off when a woman is talking about her experiences with sexism. I feel like it was a fantastic way to make people with the "these things are all in your head" attitude listen up and pay attention.

Just watching Dev and Arnold wander their way home at night, talking about the weather, was such an astonishing moment to me. What a perfect piece of screenwriting.

I LOVED the part about telling a woman she's so pretty, she should smile. I get that a lot. It was nice to have Dev voice why thats so messed up to tell a stranger to do.

Late to the party, but I'm making this comment simply because of the genius of the walks home from the bar scenes. This episode was perfect.

Just to note the great-ass female-fronted punk choices for title and credit music to go with probably the best episode so far.
