Dear god was that accent annoying. He's the first character I really disliked because I felt he was just a a predictable trope (harsh teacher who actually really cares). Oy.

Brakebills' pedagogy seems to have some serious issues with things like "boundaries" and "consent".

Considering the environment, it's not particularly shocking that there are a bunch of disgruntled former students out there trying to take them down (not to mention that for all their weird secrecy and security protocols, they still can't keep the big bad out).

I'm not watching this show, but I just want to point out that the title of this episode could easily have been an episode title on The Middleman as well.

yeah, which they drop without any precautions in order to cast a spell on Quentin. I mean really. And I am not sure Brakebills are the good guys, yet.
