This show is ridiculous, the most preposterous offering of season 4: there's no monsters in the White House.

Claire's response when Hannah asked her if she regretted not having kids was one of the best lines of the series, full-stop. And I say that as someone who has a kid. I literally cheered at that one.

You know when I knew the Underwoods were going to win? (well, okay, besides always, because it's their show) When Hannah didn't have a response to that. She isn't ready to be First Lady if she didn't have a response to that -- to anything. Claire does. Frank does.

Hannah looked like she was going to eat her teacup.

That was my favourite scene in the episode.

This episode didn't do anything for me, except for that one scene, which was indeed great.

That was my favourite scene in the episode.

I took myself off to my favourite infertility group online and exchanged some fist pumps and fist bumps over there. One truly beautiful moment to come out of this show for someone who can't/won't have children. (I'm very tempted to steal the line if anyone ever asks me the question.)

Daddy Doug Theory is back on!

I liked this episode a lot. Conways in the house, the Hammer's gaining steam, American terrorists...it all fit together really well.

Yes, as ridiculous as the plotting is, it's suspenseful and entertaining in this episode. Except for Doug, whom I have taken to thinking of as Ugh Doug, because that's what I think whenever he comes on screen. I'm on to the final episode right now, and am actually looking forward to it somewhat.

Poor Doug… always has to be shown to be digging in the past.
