The season adapted the Death Busters arc from the fifth and sixth volumes of the complete edition of Takeuchi Naoko's original Sailor Moon manga.

Season 3 is a MASSIVE improvement over the first two seasons. With new director, Chiaki Kon at the helm, the animation has improved immensely.

People who dropped the show during season 1 or 2, you really have to give season 3 a chance, it's SO much better.

Thanks for the tip! I gave up on Season 1 after an episode which was the cast standing in a room talking without saying anything interesting or important for twenty minutes.

The original SM was goofy fun back in the 90s. I'll give the show another try.
