I thought this was pretty charming. I've found it very interesting that the people I know who disliked are all people who've never had pets...

We aw this at a drive-in movie theater last weekend. It was an enjoyable movie. FAR more enjoyable than the snoozefest Bourne movie that followed it. The story is exactly as predictable as you might imagine, but the great voice work more than makes up for it.

We went with friends and their three year old. Everyone loved it! I was surprised that the three year old was a) not overly scared by some of the intense scenes (hawk, sewers) and b) engaged for the full length of the movie.

I do think it's much funnier if you have pets/have spent a lot of time observing animals.

My favourite line was by the old basset hound: "You may have lots of time, but for me very breath's a cliffhanger."

I loved Albert Brooks as the Tiberius.

I saw this right after my 16-year-old cat died, so the "owners coming home" montage just wrecked me. Overall, it was much better than I had expected it to be.

That part made me tear up too, candyland...it was really touching. I'm sorry about your cat :(

Popping in late to say that I'm so glad I wasn't the only one tearing up when the owners came home!
