Archer: Placebo Effect
September 30, 2016 4:11 PM - Season 2, Episode 9 - Subscribe
Sterling's cancer treatment has been going really well, too well. New revelations about Krieger.
Sterling is back to using Wodehouse's shotgun. He also plays Family Feud on Hardcore mode.
"I never thought I'd say this but I really miss the Zima."
Lana is chauffering in her Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
"Zinggg!"

My wife's favorite episode. In fact, this is a touching (albeit short and shallow) exploration into the struggle with an acute illness with debilitating treatments and still trying to be the person you were before diagnosis, except even more so because you have to fight past the sickness too.
It is a bit unlike Archer to inaccurately quote a literary source, though.

This is one of my 5 favorite episodes...
So many quotable lines; the scene with the Irishmen playing Family Feud and the numerous references there. Lana and Archer and with their love-hate relationship.

This is also one of my absolute favorites. I used these two episodes to show to someone who had never seen the series, but totally forgot that her boyfriend's mom had just died of breast cancer like 2 weeks before.
They....did not enjoy the episodes and I don't think they ended up watching the show at all.

I think this is one of the problems with the show. It's pretty easy to see they are joking about a subject when you aren't the subject but it can seem insensitive at best when you are the subject.
