The lady wine party may be the centerpiece of the ep, but the way the show handles Andre's wife is really the best. She's an antagonist but a very human one. Her "I'm a badass" move totally backfires, and the fact that when she becomes totally physically vulnerable from rage it draws her husband back in is both bittersweet but also morally gross. Expecting big things from that character.

Yeah, this show keeps surprising me. I liked her and Mary Jane's scene in the last episode, and the fight between her and Andre was completely realistic, from body language to contemptuous looks.

The centerpiece of this ep for me was Mary Jane's mom telling her about the car rides. So much ego, frailty, and acceptance in one short monologue.
