I was just as glad they left the night vale promotional chatter out from between the tape sides this time. I'd found that took me out of the immersion on the other podcasts.

I wonder where Hester buried the body.

This was really well done. It was in-world, believable, answered a lot of questions while still leaving something open for Season 2 . . . just excellently done.

The descriptions of the medical procedures and the needle snapping off in the nurse's neck gave me a seeeeerious case of the jibblies!!!!

I am glad that we, as the listeners, got to know that Oleta made it (considering us-as-Oleta could hear the waves of the sea between tape sides). Will she stay? I know I definitely would; I would be way too curious about and thankful to Hester not to wait around to see her in person.

I think, of all the possible endings, this one was perfect. It wrapped up things yet let the story open, full of possibility...
