AV Club awards it a B+

Joan gets the type of line usually reserved for Sherlock: "We've been solving the wrong murder."

Shinwell gives a gift and destroys some evidence of his own.

Man, that doctor picked the wrong identity to steal, and that kid picked the wrong day to shoot his mom.

The issue with the 'murder they should be solving' is really messed up. I'm actually thankful the show didn't bother to show us the character while they were alive, because out of all the truly horrible things perps have committed in the course of this show MBP... I wouldn't know what to do/think/feel if confronted by one of those characters walking around in Sherlock's and Joan's NYC. Ugh.
