"You're buying the wrong matches.
Those matches. They're the wrong kind. Red phosphorous is found in the striker strips, not the matches themselves.
You need to get the big 200-count box of individual matchbooks. More striker strips. You understand? Those only have the one.
And don't buy everything in one place. Do it piecemeal. Different items, different stores. Attracts less attention.

Walt is a real mess in this episode. He doesn't know what he wants anymore. He was counting on his upcoming death, and now that's been postponed, he's not sure who he wants to be. Sadly for everyone involved, the answer will be Heisenberg.

Most effective use of checkout beeps ever (and the music in the parking lot). Great post - as you know these are my favorite quotable lines, you can use them in a variety of situations in your daily life. :D

The "stay out of my territory" scene is one of my favorite moments in the entire series. There's a screaming amount of tension in that scene (for me), bafflement (is Walt crazy, confronting those dodgy guys in a Home Depot parking lot?), and just being on the edge of my seat, not knowing how it would play out. It's Walt embracing, full-on, the machismo of Heisenberg, and another confirmation that he's all-in.

Plus, you gotta love the not-as-lovable Bizarro World Walt and Jesse, mirror images again! We had it with Mr. and Mrs. Spooge / Jesse and Jane, now we have it with an alternative Walt-and-Jesse.

The "Jesse cooks breakfast" scene has one of the iconic Breaking Bad "odd angle" shots -- up through the bottom of the glass frying pan.

Also, this foreshadowing: "You weren't supposed to wake up." "Ever?"
