Season Finale

After watching an early cut of the documentary, Masters is disturbed by the portrayal of his work. Johnson's move to solidify her custody arrangement with George backfires. Finding justification in Masters' distraction, Libby continues her relationship with Robert. Langham discovers Flo's family's wealth and connections, causing him to re-evaluate his relationship with her. And after repeated testing of their protocol to cure impotence, Masters and Johnson feel they are ready to cure sexual dysfunction.

Terrific finale. (Aside from the Flo/Austen subplot, which I hope gets dropped forever when the new season starts up.) Totally did not see that bar scene with Scully coming, and yet the reveal that Bill had been the cause of the CBS scoop and inadvertently responsible for Gini's losing custody of her children was so perfectly in character.

Loved the Lester & Barb scenes. I'd been hoping since back in season 1 that we'd get a Lester sex scene, because of the way MoS uses the sex scenes to drive & reveal characterization. And I'm glad they're giving Libby autonomy - I always assumed that Bill left her, but I like that show-Libby may be the one who leaves him.

Yes, I loved this finale, it brought all the characters forward to a nice point that leaves lots of room for Season 3. Great to see Scully again and his role as Bill's conscience (of sorts) was well done. Also great to see Libby come into her a bit and acknowledge what she's always known.

Bill, you bastard.
