Fringe: The Box  Rewatch   Season 3, Ep 2

In the blue universe, Fauxlivia does some homework with Newton to make her impersonation more plausible—nothing gives away the fact you're from an alternate universe like saying "Bone-o". This must be a rather special box, because the men who were sent to retrieve it both died—yet the box has disappeared. Meanwhile, William Bell's last will and testament is read and turns out to contain a few surprises as well. [more inside]

Fringe: White Tulip  Rewatch   Season 2, Ep 17

There's been an incident on a train (and we all know how much Walter loves trains). Looks like collective (contagious?) heart failure, since everyone is dead in their seats at the same time. All except for the the man who walked off the train. Peter has noticed that Walter has been evasive and distant, even for him. Astrid predicts the future, Broyles humblebrags about the FBIs capabilities, and Olivia

This episode was filmed during S1 but aired just prior to "Johari Window". For those of you following on DVD, it can be found as a special feature on Disc 6. Netflix streaming lists it as episode 21. A girl regains consciousness in a hospital, but will have some interesting scars. Peter asks the obvious and shows off his linguistic skill. Again. Walter has a theory. The Tibetan Book of the Dead is used as a coaster. Lightning fails to strike. Walter has a third theory. The priest has a theory. Olivia has a theory. She's also a friend who is a girl, and who carries a gun. Walter's final theory sounds a lot like the priest's. Occam's razor triumphs in the end, guess it's not Tuesday. Peter gets a hug. Olivia gets a warning. We get an ending, of sorts. [more inside]
