Til Death Do Us Blart: Origins

When the world cried out for a distraction, five dumb heroes answered the call. For one time only, Til Death Do Us Blart goes where it has never gone before: the beginning of it all. In a non-Thanksgiving bonus episode, the crews of My Brother, My Brother And Me and The Worst Idea of All Time watch Paul Blart: Mall Cop.

I'm glad they did this, even if the end result was a bit... Incoherent. Pretty impressive that the final conclusion was Paul Blart 2 was a better movie than the first one. Just imagine how good Paul Blart 3 is gonna be.

Should I watch Paul Blart? I'm sure they say not to, but I want to know if doing so would enhance my experience of the podcast.

I mean, I’ve been listening live since 2016 and I fully believe that watching PBMC2 would ruin the podcast for me. It’s a much more tolerable movie in my imagination than it probably is in real life.

Haven't been able to listen yet as I'm hanging around at hospital with no headphones but I haven't seen either Blarts and I'm hoping one day one of the podcasts is a real-time commentary that you can listen to while watching.

ALL THESE MOVIES ARE YOURS, EXCEPT BLART. ATTEMPT NO WATCHING THERE. WATCH THEM TOGETHER. WATCH THEM IN PEACE.

I watched the prequel to Paul Blart Mall Cop 2. The boys are right; this film makes PBMC2 look like The 400 Blows.

Whether you should watch the movie is a personal decision. Personally I can't tolerate listening to people talk about something in detail when I don't know what they're referring to, so I have to watch it. It made the regular podcast hilarious to me because otherwise I wouldn't have understood the jokes; I actually never finished this year's episode bc I didn't remember enough to get what they were talking about. So yeah I'm gonna have to put it on while I'm working. I don't recommend just sitting there and watching it, definitely be doing something else like working or playing a game or something.
