I very much liked the aesthetics of the film - on screen it reminded me a lot of Moon, and apparently Duncan Jones is a fan - but the open plot holes left me cold.

I really liked this movie. It uses it's b-movie-ness to wrap itself up to a great ending. I don't want to spoil anyone seeing it, but throughout the movie there's a lot of stuff where it's so very... well not bad looking at all, but certainly not full of expensive CGI. And in the end it felts satisfyingly plausible that is was so.

I really liked it. I'm a sucker for this kind of slice-of-life low-exposition story, and also for the old new tech aesthetic. I wasn't a huge fan of the ending, but it didn't detract too much from my overall enjoyment of the movie.

J2 carried this film for me. I was so heartbroken by her sad life. The scene when she crushed the mask. And then later in the water.

The score was incredible too.
