This movie was absurd. A romantic drama with no drama or romance. Whenever they had the opportunity to build a little tension, they just waved a magic wand and pushed the story along.

I absolutely loved this, joyful, tender, gentle, kind. A perfect love story and the music!

Sylvie's Love, okay, but I'm very interested in Mona's Life: voter registration drives, an ongoing FWB situation with Sweetney, and lots of career travel.

I liked how it changed from the sort of classic '50s romance look (very soundstage sets and lighting!) to a more natural style as it progressed. It was subtle but lovely.
