Haven’t listened to this, and it’s not my kind of podcast, but SMT isn’t “impenetrable” unless you aren’t willing to give up all your preconceptions and foolish ideas of “rational connections.” Just do the story and appreciate the little bits of Tokyo street scenes, then climb a giant tower. If it gets to be too much, fuse some demons, and you’ll feel better. Probably.
