A modern Gen Z coming-of-age rom-com that follows Kelsa (Eva Reign), a confident high school girl who is trans, as she navigates through senior year. When her classmate Khal (Abubakr Ali) gets a crush on her, he musters up the courage to ask her out, despite the drama he knows it could cause. Directed by Billy Porter.

I watched this last night. Nothing amazing but cute and I'm glad it exists. Renée Elise Goldsberry needs to be in EVERYTHING.

glad to see mainstreaming lgbtq romcom. crush, then this. I'll likely watch tonight. crush, too, was a cute film, solid B.
