Mrs. Davis: Zwei Sie Piel mit Seitung Sie Wirtschaftung

As she contemplates her next move, Simone discovers her ex is part of an underground resistance.
A few more comments here: First, I am annoyed as heck that I didn't see the Jesus reveal coming earlier (though I did get it a few beats before it was made explicit), given that I'm raised Catholic and should have figured it out from J plus "I'm his wife."
Second, Wiley is literally unhinged, and unhinging technology every chance he gets. I wonder if everyone referring to themselves as JXX will come into play as well?
Finally: I am selling my friends on this show and described it to them as, "Makes Legion S1 look restrained," which is overselling it a bit but not a ton? The scene with the pianos on the prairie looked so cool, and then there's the mental palace of a restaurant that Simone goes to get info from her husband...

Looking back at the first episode, it's so blatant. She calls him "Jesus" (in a tone that makes you think she's just swearing) and immediately after that Dolly Parton sings about talking to Jesus every day.
I didn't catch it either, of course, but I love it.

I was raised Catholic, went to Catholic school, caught that he was giving her communion in the first ep, had decided that The Boss was obviously Mrs. Davis and/or God, and STILL did not see the Jesus reveal coming. 🤦🏻♀️
I am VERY glad that I did not unreservedly recommend the show to my friend who is a religious sister after episode one, though!

Ok, just got through this episode, definitely did not see the Jesus reveal coming. I'm pretty sure I was already sold on this show but that definitely bought it a few episodes' worth of goodwill right there. That was clever.

Well I must be incredibly dense because we just watched Ep. 2 and it was only reading this thread that gave me the Jesus reveal.
We even talked about how nuns get married to their faith, and we still didn't get that "Jay" was "J", and when she accepted the proposal by saying "Yes, Jesus" she was being literal.

Also, the horse didn't die! It was play-dough! Huzzah!
