Circus freaks + Nazi killing + superheroes + magical realism + gore = made for me. Greatly enjoyed this.

I'm only half way through this film but it's fantastic! So sad it didn't get theatrical release in the US because I would LOOOOOOOOOVE to see this on the big screen!

I'll be honest: I wanted to see it so badly I bootlegged it the first chance I got. But it was so fantastic, I felt compelled to pay full retail purchase price as soon as it was legally available.

OK so I finally I finished it. Oh man I would like to gush about all of the things. I think my one hang up was the masturbation gags were ick. Did not need that. But other than that any film where character utters "I am the cassandra of the third reich" or has a nazi getting sprayed with tiger piss has my heart forever.

Too funny that he even played the idol show version of 'Creep'.

I liked the Nazi salute subversions: the bug guys initial willingness to do it, versus his two-handed version at the end; the bad guy mistaking it in his vision, and then it being mocked with waving when he's lying there with his fried hand.

I don't know if it all comes together. I like that there's seemingly no explanation for the visions the bad guy has, or how targeted they are, or the mysterious face that appears. Is that supposed to be like the face of Oz? One of the charcoal drawings in the credits seemed to be of him too..
