Just so no one gets too confused that this is a sequel or remake to anything other than any of the various Kamen Rider shows, the "Shin" movies (Shin Godzilla, Shin Ultraman and this one Shin Kamen Rider) are unrelated narratively but share some thematic elements and the writer & director.

Shin Godzilla is an all timer but Shin Ultraman was a bit of a letdown. Hoping Shin Kamen Rider redeems the new Shin Universe!
