Special Event: Mystery Fandom Theater 3000: LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

Mystery Fandom Theater 3000 was put together by some friends who loved the show and wanted to do something along those lines themselves. They hewed pretty closely to the original, in that they remade the Mike-era Comedy Central opening, complete with its audio and a few clips taken directly from it, but with different people playing the roles. The movie is extremely bad: it turns out that those Santa's Enchanted Village shorts with Stinky the Skunk and The Ferocious Wolf, that Rifftrax riffed in Santa's Village of Madness, have a secret backstory with those two characters! Come see the foundation of the K. Gordon Murray Cinematic Universe!

It turns out there are a few more things we can do, at least leading up to the end of the year. After that who knows. We might continue Thursday shows on less frequent basis, maybe once a month. The original idea for the second lap we did was to just show episodes we liked, on a whim. That may still be possible, although without Fanfare posts unless there's something actually new. Some MST3K episodes have three posts here now.

There is also one regular post to come: the Cinematic Titanic episode for Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, which we skipped because of the proximity to the holidays.

I can’t believe I never heard of these. You may already know this, but they are apparently available at the Internet Archive.
