The government gets wind of a plot to destroy America involving a trio of nuclear weapons for which the whereabouts are unknown. It's up to a seasoned interrogator and an FBI agent to find out exactly where the nukes are.
Stars Samuel L Jackson as the philosophizing cold-hearted torturing interrogator, Carrie-Anne Moss as the conflicted FBI agent struggling to balance the hellish interrogation against the threat of the bombs, and Michael Sheen as the converted-to-Islam oddball former military man now threatening to blow up 3 big cities. Steven Root and Martin Donovan have smaller parts.
