Encounter Party: A Public Display of Conviction
July 10, 2024 12:02 PM - Season 1, Episode 15 - Subscribe
An unexpected return to a popular tavern kicks off the party's plan to infiltrate The Future.
My favorite line maybe in the whole series is Brian’s delivery on “your parents would be so proud” :P

I can't believe Flik didn't take the opportunity to tell Trin, "Always bet on Blue!" And then, ooh, Tolo got maaaaaad about revealing the vision ...
What a knife in the heart for Asher at that first encounter with the Future, but it lead to the inspiration for the grand plan. Loved Dryddian & Cardabelle's reactions.
I was a bit paranoid about their plan to talk to the Patriar after Brian started congratulating them on a good plan -- whenever a DM starts complimenting you, watch out! -- but it turned out to be not-a-trap :)
So, does Tolo have a crush on the tall Elf woman (Elgri?), or is he just obsessed with anyone who is taller than him? His behavior with her was really, really funny :)

Interesting using the sword and the first episode's vision as a way to approach the Future. To secure their place, the graffiti is a clever notion, as Asher says herself. :) Especially with the sure knowledge that Duncan will have to clean it up, haha.
Setting up a pulley system: "It's the silliest way to do it...let's do it."
The reassurance that they won't need to prepare anything because they won't want to come back was so ominous, especially with that cheerful delivery! And poor Flik with his affliction...although I still wouldn't bet against him! At least Asher now has definitive contact with someone who knows her sister.
