[Trailer] A 10 year old girl convinces a lonely classmate that she is a witch, forcing the child to become her assistant. Though their games are initially rather naive, they gradually take a nasty and violent turn.

[No critical consensus] / 79% on Rotten Tomatoes.

This one won "Best Picture" at the Ariel Awards (basically Mexico's Oscars) in 1986, and the director won "Best Director."

Currently on Shudder, at least in the U.S.

This one is a slow burner, but don't let that fool you. It is a horror film.

I watched it last night and have been thinking about it a lot today.
