Daniel discovers some new, unpleasant restrictions on his life. Daggett investigates George’s death. Amantha endures Thrifty Town management training.

"Daniel meets with his probation officer and discovers that his plea deal has introduced some new and unpleasant restrictions on his life. Daggett asks Daniel about his interactions with the late George Melton, but the conversation only raises more questions. Seeking clarity, Daggett reaches out to Trey, who paints Daniel as impulsive and prone to violence. Janet tells Ted, Sr. that Daniel needs money in order to start his new life. Ted agrees, but resents being told – not asked – about the solution. Tired of living with the consequences of Daniel’s release, Ted, Sr. recruits Ted, Jr. to help him finish Daniel’s ill-conceived renovation. Meanwhile, Amantha attends Thrifty Town management training out of town, but during an awkward team-building exercise, finds herself unexpectedly sharing the grief and resentment she has been harbouring. Ted, Jr. again tries reconciling with Tawney, even suggesting they see a therapist, only to be hurt by the news that Tawney’s started therapy without him. In hopes of clearing up any suspicion that Daniel was involved in George’s death, Daniel and Jon visit Daggett, but the interview ends abruptly when Jon discovers Daniel has been less than forthcoming with him. Amantha ditches an organized karaoke night with her fellow trainees and ends up bonding with Forrest, a surprisingly thoughtful businessman. Their chance encounter lets her escape the unhappy realities of her life, if only for one night." — Sundance's Episode Summary
