In the article linked above, "This is England '90: when the working class still had hope", the author says that Woody and Lol would be 45 right now. That can't be right, can it? That they were 20 in the current season, and 18 and 16 in the previous 2?

It means they would be 45 in 2015, ie now now.

biffa, right, I got that, but that would make them only 18 and 16 in the previous miniseries, and thirteen in the movie, which does not seem right. The couldn't have been that young, could they have? I always imagined they were late teens in the movie, and would be in their early to mid-twenties by the current series, so that would make them older than 45 in 2015, no?
