I watched this again recently via the Director's Cut version, which only differs in the length of the older biker's funeral and the addition of Cher and Rocky singing "Little Egypt."
It was good, but mostly on the strength of the acting and it had me thinking a lot about how Bogdanovich started as one of our most interesting auteurs and later became a studio filmmaker of varying competence.
