It was interesting seeing Jo try and fail to find common ground with the girl. I still don't really understand why Miranda was so judgmental. I was pretty frustrated to not be at the hospital for this episode, though.

There seem to be a lot of prison-related plotlines in Shondaland lately. Maybe she's giving an issue she cares about some featured time.

Is it something that's been happening and I'm just now noticing, or is the camera work/lighting suddenly really different in a not-good way? It looks really soap opera-y. More soap opera-y anyway.
