Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency: Two Broken Fingers

Dirk and the gang are surprisingly joined by a familiar face, and an other-worldly one.
We know that Dirk is the man. I'm kind of assuming Amanda is the one who sees all and opens the door since she was seeing all kinds of stuff and she and Vogle disappeared.

I've got a terrible crush on Deputy Tina.

I thought the story of Suzie's accident was hilarious. I knew it was going to be something that was entirely her fault and I was not disappointed. She is a horrible, garbage person.
The whole DO YOU KNOW KEN thing makes me laugh every single time...especially with Bart figuring out there exists more than one Ken. I love how Bart occupies her own space and just keeps rolling with it. That whole thing where she was talking about not killing people and she hadn't killed Dirk for a third time so they're practically best friends...super funny.
I really enjoy Tina, too. The actress does some really good incidental movement stuff that is just great in this.

I think Vogle would be a good The Boy.

soo the couple died in the 50's, and i'm assuming their son, whose tallest tally mark on the door frame was like 4' something, must be 10-12 around then. I'm assuming he must be in his late 60's?
what if it's that bed ridden black wing subject? and it might make sense that his parents died weird if he had a power that he couldn't control!
i love this show so much.

Moloch is supposedly the most powerful subject according to Hugo so he definitely figures in somehow. However, since time doesn't necessarily function as expected on this show I'm not sure who I think The Boy is.
I also think Todd figures in on that list somehow since Dirk was wondering/so bothered by him actually developing pararibulitis. We know Amanda uses pararibulitis to get her visions.

I assumed Moloch (if he's the old guy sleeping in the hospital that Dirk talks to) was Odin, a la the books? Didn't have a stroke, is just having a good long sleep as is his wont.

I hadn't considered the book angle at all for Moloch since there have been minimal references to the books. I also hadn't considered other implications of the name Moloch either.

yeah, the show is so far removed from the books it wasn't really much more than an idle "oh, could that be Odin?" thought that crossed my mind.
