The show gets back on track after a couple of shaky episodes.

Gretchen falling into a drunk blackout was interesting in that she seemed to recognize what was happening and was trying to will it not to happen, sort of implying she's an old hand at them. I did not expect what was going down when she came-to, though.

I don't know...do people actually realize when they're going to black out? I thought it was just an issue with memory formation and not like you actually feel yourself blacking out. So that part felt a bit unrealistic to me. Maybe Gretchen just has enough experience to recognize the point at which she's drunk enough that she won't remember anything later, though, and I misread that scene.

I did enjoy the scenes with Jimmy and Katherine's friends. The way he's so proud of himself for getting out of the escape room and they're just standing there exasperated...

I'm finding the scenes with Becca and Lindsay's woes kind of boring and repetitive. Same with Edgar. I feel like this season started off strong, and even if this episode got the show somewhat back on track it's still not as great as it used to be.

It's getting clearer and clearer that Edgar's overspending is setting him up for a fall. Knowing this show, it's going to be a bad one.
