Tatort: Gott ist auch nur ein Mensch
November 22, 2017 6:22 PM - Season 47, Episode 11 - Subscribe

Münster, on the eve of its once a decade Sculpture Project, finds an uninvited work on display. Unfortunately, it's a corpse. Detective Thiel and Coroner Boerne arrive to examine the crime scene and the art scene.

The odd couple pairing of the unrefined detective and the aesthete doctor never fail to bring a bit of comedy to whatever they do. G.O.D., star artist, accepts Boerne as an apprentice and Boerne's ego soars... even though all signs point to G.O.D. as the murderer. Thiel also has an in when he learns that a childhood friend is the show's curator.

Tatort seems to go one for three or four. Normally Münster is a reliably good one. This wasn't necessarily one of those.
Boerne's family tree/Bonsai was a good joke but not much else rose to that level.
Sigh.

Thiel being a little kid at a commune was kind of funny for me. Not one of the best for sure.
