Who could have thought the offspring of a sarcastic lockpicking gnome and a majestic summoned bicorn would be a sword?

I posted this on Twitter too, but there were beats in this week’s Ep that made me absolutely PINE for Justin’s turn as GM: introducing Beacon, all of those dialogues, “I think I’m *more* afraid”

I knew that voice was familiar.

That thing about running from hiding place to hiding place sounds like such a VERY Travis thing to do. You KNOW baby Travis wasn't just picking a place and sticking with it.

Agreed supercres; of all the McElroys, I am most intrigued for Justin's turn behind the screen. I'm kinda sad that Travis is next up, but I'm also glad that Justin has all the time he does to prepare.

Which is not to say that I think Travis running "Dust" is going to be bad; just that I'm really excited to see what Justin is going to do.

Are we even sure Justin is going to go up to bat? I seem to recall that he is the most reluctant in the family to take the GM role. Has anyone said definitively that Justin is going to do an arc, or is this just an assumption?

I think it was mentioned somewhere (I think when the new cover art came out) that the new cover art represented each of the upcoming mini arcs and I seem to be aware that the British Detective looking one is Justin's. I don't know how I know that.

There was a lIve TTAZZ that hasn’t been posted where people reported that Justin might not do it at all. I’m hoping that’s not the case, since he’s the only one of them (aside from Griffin) that I’d be excited to hear.

Fomhar: and here I was thinking “Hello, I’m Beacon, and I’m chilling in here with Pikachu and Charizard.”

Travis was okay, but man, Justin and Clint were just [kisses fingertips]. Justin is doing such a good job of playing “the Chosen One, but who really doesn’t want to be.” Clint is doing such a good job of playing kind of a sleazy huckster (and obviously having the time of his life with it). Travis is... okay!

Justin was riffing on a previous TTAZZ (or maybe MBMBAM?). In order to support his claim that he doesn't have any good ideas and would make a terrible GM, he threatened to run a story called Everyone's Sherlock, a Victorian romp in which every character is Sherlock Holmes but one of them is also a vampire. But of course, everyone immediately realized that sounds amazing. The new cover art provides more evidence that's the direction he's gonna go. If he does it.

Justin has a history with Sherlock Holmes. He's had recurring hilarious stories on the Giant Bomb podcast about how incredulous he is about each new Sherlock Holmes video game by Ukrainian developer Frogwares, and how he keeps doing awkward games previews with them. They're compiled in this really fun video.

I’m in agreement.

Yeah, Justin is such a good storyteller that I would hate to miss out on him taking a turn behind the screen, but by the same token, I also think he is the strongest player in the group by far, so it would also be a shame to lose him from the party.

I find Beacon extremely ASMR-inducing, and I'm not real comfortable with that.
