Alas, for now at least, I'm not going to be able to do the in-depth LWT posts I've been trying to produce. (There are still like five episodes from last season I've not written up yet.) If someone else wants to do LWT posts I don't mind, but for me, unless there's a particular thing I think needs filling in and I have the time and energy to do it, I'm going to stick with just mentioning the primary sequences. Sorry about that, I'm hoping people will talk about their favorite bits in comments and help flesh out each thread that way.

- Scandals around the world: South Africa, Australia, Israel
- And Now: For Valentine's Day, Local News Presents Some Heart-Shaped Shit
- Main Story: Trump Vs. The World, on Trump's terrible foreign policy, which has eroded US soft power around the world.

Being down under myself, I can't entirely disagree with Australia being described as "70% uninhabitable because of desert, and 30% uninhabitable because of Australians."

At this particular historical moment, I know many Australians who consider America 100% uninhabitable because of Americans. John's 30% figure seems almost a compliment in return.

Trump is ruining John Oliver for me. I just can't watch him, even in the short clips.
