Did I miss something in the set up--is there a reason why Death upset Gandy so much?

Travis is really good as a DM, even if he was only okay as a player previously! The whiskey line was great.

Also, I laughed out loud in public at the “if so, I want to DO them!” McElroy references are deep cuts, finely targeted.

Griffin's character choice lends itself well to his play style.
He wants to be hands on, chatty, problem solvy guy. So an enthusiastic werewolf politician is ideal.

Likewise, Justin has full licence to lurk in the background before popping in with a gag or a twist. Again, a ghost is ideal.

And Travis always wanted the deep and detailed backstory and world building, so he really shines as DM here.

I've got high hopes for this one.

Color me extremely surprised by how much I liked this. Sometimes I get overly down on Travis, which is silly because he does know a thing or three.

Also for real is the next mini-arc going to be Extravegance (it will be just so please god)

meese - that was called out as her fear. She’s terrified of death and is obsessed with it following her parents’ death and is looking to beat it.

I really, really enjoyed this. Loving the focus on character, setting and dialogue over punching stuff.

I too am extremely surprised by how much I am enjoying this; I was not enthused about the concept of "supernatural western" but they've really made it fun and interesting!
