The advice to make an animatic is actually really good. They have their own personal animatic army already who are probably already working on it.

Also is this show kind of their back door way of showing that they’re good at interviewing celebrities?

justin actually has been doing some voice over work lately, was expecting an episode to focus on that but maybe next time.

I want Janet Varney to be a celebrity guestspert on MBMBAM some time. She was very, very good and is just such a talented person.

I feel like Justin's voice work is too earnest an attempt to get in Trolls 2 for it to work in the context of this show.

On Wonderful this week (about 6 minutes in) Griffin made a reference to how leaving your phone on in "a session" would "get you kicked out of the 'Voice Actors' Guild'". It was almost certainly just a goof, but it did get me wondering whether they have got the Trolls 2 job and are just keeping it quiet.

In some ways I feel like, if they had got it, they'd need to keep it quiet. It seems like it would be in DreamWorks interest for the premise of TMBWBITT to continue working for as long as possible, if they do feel like they might be able to score some cheap publicity based on it. Given that the whole idea for the podcast comes from DreamWorks using YouTubers in Trolls in order to generate cheap publicity, I don't think this is wholly fanciful.

Man, I'd had no idea that Janet Varney was so straight-up hilarious overall. Maybe they can interview her again sometime, because that was great.

Janet Varney has her own podcast where she interviews people about their teenage years: The J.V. Club.

She deliberately focuses on female guests, but occasionally has men on too (like, for instance, one Travis Patrick McElroy).
