Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Jimmy-Jab Games
October 13, 2014 5:05 PM - Season 2, Episode 3 - Subscribe

Stuck at the precinct waiting for a delayed motorcade, the Nine-Nine gang decides to put on an impromptu competition with increasingly outlandish games. Boyle attempts to get an embarrassing videotape back from Hitchcock. Meanwhile, Holt and Jeffords face off against the formidable Deputy Chief Wuntsch.

(Of course, this isn't the first time Andy Samberg has paid homage to former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad...)

They clearly need to try Flonkerton.

I think the best part was the security guard recognizing, in such a resigned way, that it was the Jimmy Jabs Games. That's what really made it for me.

This was the strongest episode of the season so far, by a dang mile. There was good character movement (Rosa gets the task force! Terry stands up to Holt!) and it was solidly hilarious all the way through.

I like that they've been setting up a rival for the Captain.

Obviously they can't make Wunsch as formidable as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, but I hope they keep her strong and her inevitable downfall isn't a mere clowning.
