I am liking the flashback element of this.
I had a half-formed idea idea last night that this was a method made to keep the method of reveal fresh for a third season. Totally gonna have to through that one.

The sheer trauma and guilt both Hap and Leonard seem to manifest in the "present" as they sulk about all twitchy-like makes me feel very trepidatious about what that reveal may be. They are terrified yet so broken they cannot be together for whatever is coming.
