Just as a note, unless I missed something while watching last night (which I may have, I was doing some very important unravelling of a knitting fuck-up), that linked IO9 article is for discussion of the whole season, and contains some spoilers for those of us (like me) who are only at episode 4 at this point. Can we maybe nix that link or at least stick a spoiler tag on it?

On this episode: I continue to be delighted by Parker Posey, the chicken, and the robot. Also by this show's commitment to populating itself with women and people of color. It's growing on me as it goes along.

The Den of Geek review says "At some point, the new family picked up Don West and the wounded survivor Angela. We don’t know how it happened, especially since Dr. Smith jacked their flare, but pace is something this show won’t sacrifice, to its credit." Well, the geeks in their dens need to pay a little better attention. Don made a big deal about the chicken saving his life because it had a location tracker embedded, and that's what the Watanabes were homing in on when they found him.

Den of Geek! Hire me to write reviews! I will pay attention to the shows I am reviewing!

I'm glad Don West survived. His smuggler's heart of gold will save somebody or something.

Mod note: Added spoiler notation; carry on.

Also by this show's commitment to populating itself with women and people of color.

I think this is one of my favorite things about this show. Women and POC and WOC are the main characters and the strong characters. It's something that is usually lacking in sci fi and it's so nice to see this show double and triple down on a commitment to diversity.

Ok how did the eels eat everyone’s fuel when I assume not every shop landed in water. So confused. Also this show is stressful

I was just about to write this off - and then Will Robinson fucks with a circuit relay.

I'm very concerned about Maxwell Jenkins, the child actor's, future.

The kiddie/adult stuff is a very fine line to thread - I'm still on the edge.

Do really like how they throw in a few cool looking frames every so often.
