Scandal: Like Father, Like Daughter
October 17, 2014 7:46 AM - Season 4, Episode 4 - Subscribe
Fitz asks Olivia to shut down a situation that could destroy the Grant family's reputation. Meanwhile, Rowan calls on an old friend to do his dirty work.
I'm so pissed that it only took four episodes to wash away the Fitz/Olivia break-up at the end of season 3. What happened to "My dad raped Mellie, I can never leave her"/"I wouldn't want you if you did"? Move on, people!
And return a damn phone call from your hot sort-of-but-not-officially boyfriend, Olivia!

I guess the problem with a show like this is they have to keep raising the stakes.
Agent Larsen went and got the meningitis strain himself? Absurd. B-613 is seriously understaffed.

B-613 is seriously understaffed.
They were a lot more impressive before it turned out that Olivia and the gang could take them down with some typing. After the business about cutting all their funding at a keystroke? Yeah, I could see Larsen having to do that himself. Probably didn't even get comped for the miles.
I also have a hard time believing Rowan wouldn't have some better way to gain access to that facility, unless he specifically wanted his stooge to get caught. (Even then, as some kind of uber1337 superspy, I would object to using my own access card for that sort of dirty work. Given the magical superhacking Huck does as a matter of course, seems like he should've expected to be snuck in a little more quietly.)

I knew that would happen, but it was still really annoying.
Other stuff:
* I laughed out loud at the notion that Olivia had never seen a dirtier sex tape than a trio of punk kids doing the Eiffel tower, given her job description and experience in D.C.
* Fitz leaving Mellie out of the loop bothered me more than usual, in this case. I suppose it was true to form, but man.

I skipped season 3 and came into this thread wondering if I could read FanFare threads instead of actually watching this season and the answer is yes.

I actually kept up with Smallville that way for ages, via the Superman Homepage. It was like watching someone go insane in slow motion, which is to say, 'more fun than watching the show.'
Only downside: now I am tempted to make up plot points. ("Hey guys, how crazy is it that Cyrus is actually a werewolf? Or Fitz did something decent for once in his life?")

It's about time they killed off Quinn, amirite? Harrison is going to be so mad, though!

The great thing is that it doesn't matter how crazy you can get. I was shocked when it turned out Mellie was working for Hydra, though.

I think they just did that to get rid of Quinn, making icing her the loyalty test. Seemed a little repetitive after making Jake kill off Cyrus' hubbie, though.
