As silly as it was, it was leaps and bounds better than Barry's trial, so I'm happy to count that as a minor victory.

It has been interesting to watch certain actors move back and forth between the DC and Marvel shows. I like Catherine Dent, and feel it's a shame she will be unlikely to stick around on Arrow, especially after that last episode of SHIELD.

Well, that was better than usual. Great use of Human Target. Uh, what was that legal stuff again?

Yeah that was a whole episode where no one had the idiot ball and everyone was super mature and did things that were true to themselves. I'm pretty impressed.
The Human Target was great, and I loved that he was like "try not to need me for like another year", HINT HINT.
I actually thought that was Earth-X Tommy Merlyn because I forgot that one killed himself. I had it in my head somehow that he was reformed by this Oliver and somehow ended up captured in Kasnia.
Ok, the most ludicrous thing of the episode was probably John parachuting in and taking out all the baddies while none of them could hit this slowly descending target.

briefly before this, right when you hear the judge's voice in the secret bunker, I was like "OMG HOW MANY MORE PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT YOUR SECRET NOW OLIVER??", 'cause he had just told his lawyer in the same episode.

I give them credit, having the not-actually Green Arrow burst through the skylight in the courtroom and proclaim "I am the Green Arrow" is the most amazingly comic booky scene this comic book TV show has done in a long while. I continue to love the way Arrow plays this kind of ridiculous story contraption totally straight, as if it were a normal thing that could have happened on a high brow legal drama.

Oh, wait... what I really love is the silliness of these Arrowverse trials.
Silly trial aside, this was the best episode in a long time. As the AV Club review pointed out the characters were themselves and didn’t do or say things just to advance the plot. It was fun to see Tommy again and the judge fake out was a great twist.
