Drunk History: World War II
June 20, 2018 7:17 AM - Season 5, Episode 8 - Subscribe

The second half of the fifth season begins with stories about the WWII: the ghost army of inflatable tanks and sandbag troops to trick Nazi observation forces (John Lutz), Frank Emi and the civil disobedience at the Heart Mountain Japanese internment camp (Randall Park) and Hitler's nephew, who fought for the US (Lyric Lewis).

This was a good choice for the half-season premiere. Strong stories, delivered well. If you're interested in the Japanese-American incarceration, Order 9066 is really good.

I was surprised that Hitler's American nephews and their alleged "end the bloodline" pact only barely rated a sentence at the very end.

1. LUTZ.

2. It took me a couple minutes to figure out that was Grant Imahara from Mythbusters in the Heart Mountain segment.
