Creating a thread for an entire book series (trilogy)?

Apologies if it's been discussed before, but I couldn't find what the protocol would be for creating a thread for a book series rather than a single book (much like posting for a season rather than each episode), or if it would be better to post book-by-book.

When creating a post, you can only select one book.

The series I have in mind is The Machineries of Empire by Yoon Ha Lee.

The reasoning is that the last book came out in June, and there haven't been posts on FanFare about previous books in the series, so it would be nice to be able to discuss the series as a whole.

Not sure whether you can post a whole series at once, but you could at least post the latest book. Generally discussing both the book and anything that came before it is fair game.
