An American consortium that includes director Ron Howard is set to make a new film of George Orwell's highly influential novel

Ministry of Truth: "We have always been at war with Eastasia."
Ron Howard narration: "We actually haven't."

This version is pretty much perfect so a reboot seems pretty silly. Or should I say, prolefeed doubleplusungood.

Someone should do a movie of We. Same book, more compelling characters, and it predates Orwell's uncredited reimagining. OTOH, a dystopian soviet collectivism may not be as compelling to the modern audience as the government watching us through our screens.
