I feel like we chewed through a ton of plot in this episode, when a normal show might have stretched everything through two or three episodes. I can't remember who compared this to early seasons Vampire Diaries for plot churn, but they were right on.

So a show with a female showrunner had an episode written by a woman, directed by a woman, and featured a conversation with four different women characters talking together about saving the world.

I do think that's a pretty amazing accomplishment. Some of the plots this season have been total nonsense but I mostly try to turn off my brain and just enjoy all the amazing women doing things behind and in front of the camera.

And enjoy Melanie Scrofano's hair. Because her beautiful beautiful mane is my dream hair.
