A Spark of Light

One of the most fearless writers of our time, Jodi Picoult tackles a complicated issue in this gripping and nuanced novel. How do we balance the rights of pregnant women with the rights of the unborn they carry? What does it mean to be a good parent? A Spark of Light will inspire debate, conversation . . . and, hopefully, understanding.

I got here from the MetaTalk page. I'm interested in hearing what other MeFites think; I have read every one of JP's other books, usually in a matter of hours, but I just can. not. get. into. this one. I'm considering skipping ahead to the middle to see if it will catch my attention more. I bought this the day it came out.
