This is easily on my top 5 favorite films of the year. It captures this very particular moment in the 90s, this very particular scene, and it puts it on screen. If you have a chance to see this, do yourself a favor and make sure you do. It has so much heart and it feels very authentic.

It's extremely, intensely emotional brutal. It's very funny and truly sad.

And i didn't like the way the other boys leered at Stevie's mother.

Liked most of it, sort of a less nightmarish version of Kids (1995)

The complete lack of consequences for any of the characters was disappointing.

Plus, Stevie can't even ollie up a curb - and he goes for a massive roof gap!
