Runaways: Last Rites

I don't think anyone expected what happened in this episode.

The ship blows up, Nico attacks Jonah (toldya), and everyone is confused.

"Seems like every time we get a call from Pride, there's a body involved."

I'm surprised stuff is going down with the ship so early in the season, it's only the half way point. I'm wondering what else we got going on except just PRIDE trying to convince the kids to come home and the kids trying to send their parents to jail.

Nico straight up stabbing Jonah was pretty nutso though, but a great scene.

I haven't commented on this season thus far, but my son and i are enjoying it.

Nico was a full-on avenger this episode and I really liked it.

We're also wondering where they go from here (other than the fall of Pride) since this seemed to be very season ending stuff at the half-way point.

It probably says something about me that I took this, at first, as a comment about Nico and Karolina.

This was an episode where I felt some of the blanks needed to be filled in a bit more for it to work. What were the kids attempting to do with the spaceship? How did destroying the spaceship stop the earthquake when it had already left the hole and presumably set off the fault? What exactly did the thing Janet built achieve when it was activated?

I feel like there were answers to these questions that the show had in mind, but I don't think they really bothered to get them across.
