Watched the pilot two-parter. It had a few issues but the acting is solid and I'm interested in the long-term arc, so I'll give it a try!

So I finally watched the first two episodes and...it's something else! 100% beautiful people! Podcasts! Indie rock Pete Campbell! Judges who don't mind getting yelled at! This kind of caricature of a courtroom-slash-investigator-slash family slash election hybrid drama piques my interest as some kind of hyperreal, not quite real-world accurate style. Way moreso than Wisdom of the Crowd, it accepts the fact that technical terminology and procedure is always going to be out of sync with the audience's understanding. It's all over the place and I think I kind of like it.
