I look forward to rewatching this episode once the season is on Netflix to see if the dragon-genitalia was blurred out by show-runner choice or SyFy/FCC standards.

Benedict Cumberdouche - Margo always make me snort in my beer. As did the aforementioned Dragonriders reference.
The sex voodoo dolls were a little relief in the angst that was Alice and her mother failing to connect. I need a pair of those the next time the LDS missionaries are in town.
I have to wonder if Fen isn't getting played by the Napster. She's a bit on the gullible side.
And it's always good to see Felicia Day show up for an episode.

Ah, a picture in a comic book (read a few comments before watching) wondering if they had rendered giant cgi dragon, ah parts, ok, ok never mind. Really liked the river dragon, such sweet snark.

that was a fun episode! I love that each little part of the world has its own dragon that somehow humans have never noticed.
Man.. that whole dragon porn thing... I can't believe we're finally getting some of that in our TV shows.

in my Recent Activity page this thread is literally right above the The Dragon Prince Season 2 thread and now I want dragon porn fanfic from that show since we saw a couple of dragons in that show this season

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about where the show is right now. The plot still holds up for me, the actors are all still doing a fine job and I like all the characters that I always liked (die in a fire, Quentin, and take Alice with you) but some of what they're doing just isn't landing for me.
I'm hoping that Margo's recent run as the worst bro you ever met (with flipped pronouns) is a reaction to not knowing how to process her feelings about the Eliot situation and that she'll get back to normal once (if, I suppose) he returns.
Free Trader Beowulf was a deep enough cut that I was able to appreciate it, but the recent episodes have been pressing too hard on the "here are some words that people will recognize as being associated with nerds" button with the Black Lotus / Bag of Holding / Falcor references that don't do anything to explore why those words might have significance. It feels lazy and cynical in a Big Bang Theory / Ready Player One sort of way. Casting Felicia Day is that impulse personified.
So the stuff that's working for me works great, but the stuff that doesn't takes me right out of the story.
